MAD's Mission (Making A Difference): Join us in turning a negative into a positive. Together we can make a difference in the fight against teen suicide

Created in 2018, All About MAD has grown from a small vision to a national campaign. MAD was started by then Haleigh Arnold, now Haleigh Arnold-Black, and her father Rick   Arnold. They knew they were given a mission field through the martial arts. Now All About MAD is exploding and martial arts schools around the world are committed to improving and         empowering people from all walks of life. With martial arts being a platform to change lives, MAD is committed to give every person a fighting chance. We are recruiting all community members and martial arts school owners alike to join us on our journey to change this world one amazing martial artist at a time.

Teen & Young Adult Suicide hits close to home for so many.  The number is sky rocketing to over 4,110 attempts a day in America!  Just in the small town of Sherman, TX within a time span of just three months, there were 3 completed suicides.

Join the fight

Four out of five completed suicides give clear warning signs of their intentions.  If we learn the signs and know how to respond, we have an opportunity to assist 80% of those teens who are templating suicide. Fight for them.

Know the symptoms: Teen Suicide symptoms are often subtle and can include:
· Suicide Threats
· Previous Suicide Attempts
· Obsession with death or suicide
 · Depression
· Final Arrangements
· Loss, drugs, alcohol, feeling  shame, guilt, excessive stress or parents

Making a Difference exists to EDUCATE, EQUIP & EMPOWER leaders, educators, friends & family. Our mission is to let young people be certain that they matter in this world.  To allow them to contribute to making it a better place and finally to help them connect. We give every person a fighting chance.

You can support young adult suicide prevention throughout the year by donating or purchasing MAD Water Bottles. With every bottle sold 80% of the funds goes directly to suicide prevention.

MAD'S FIRST PROJECT

Founder, Haleigh Arnold-Black, has a passion to serve. With MAD in her fingertips, she decided it was time to launch MAD’s first project… 29:11 Ministries. 29:11 Ministries is a weekly youth meeting on Wednesday nights. With an average of 35 students per week, MAD is impacting Grayson County. With focus on self                  development, friendship, and Jesus lives are being changed weekly. 29:11 Ministries began in March of 2019 on the East side of Arnold’s Martial Arts and is growing fast. This past summer 29:11 took teens to summer camp, where over 50 people witnessed 16 people being baptized. We are living out the mission to serve God, serve people, and to serve the world. Your donation to MAD, will help expand to more students, supply needs for Wednesday night youth group, and potentially fund a bigger “home” for 29:11 Ministries.
